Born in Poway, California; nicknamed “The city in the country”, Lyndsay always had a passion for food. Spending hours in the kitchen with her grandfather, she busied herself with reading countless cookbooks and novels involving the magical world of haute cuisine.
Moving to Central Oregon with her family to finish her high school years, she discovered a ProStart Culinary arts program within the school. Spending three years with the program, and graduating high school with an honors diploma, Lyndsay was accepted into Cascade Culinary Institute the following school year. There, she buried her nose into textbooks, entered numerous cooking competitions, and even helped run the school’s culinary club. After graduating with an Honors diploma, Lyndsay Interned at Walt Disney World, in Orlando, FL. Working next to celebrity chefs during the Food and Wine Festival, her love for food grew fonder. But there was something more she wanted. Something seemed to be missing. Taking a few months to reorganize her life path, Lyndsay decided that following her love for writing, and incorporating her passion for food would make the perfect match.
Writing a blog that incorporated both seemed like the perfect stepping stone on her new path. Currently pursuing a B.A in English, Lyndsay plans on writing for blogs or food magazines.
